Positive: We were offered to use additional amenities at the neighboring property but there wS absolutely no need. We enjoyed all of the many the Residence had to offer. The staff was very kind. There was ample parking. Negative: Our ice machine did not work well in our freezer. The front desk was gracious to give is a huge bad full.

Initial check in was an enormous hassle. Our two bedroom suite booked in advance was NOT specified as handicap. It took 3 days to honor the reservation AS ADVERTISED. Finally all of us kids and adults could finally settle in and unpack for the 7 days left of our 10 day reservation. After pressing the issue nearly non-stop.
However, breakfast here was excellent! With so many families the employee here kept up %110 percent! Great variety. Every single thing is stocked and in order everyday throughout the serving hours. Great kitchenette for our in room meals too!
Beds were comfortable. Couch was horrible. Needs cushions? Stuffing? A plank to make the seats even?
Altogether for the greater part of our stay service was great. When the pool and hot tub was down for maintenance they orchestrated our access to nearby sister hotel amenities.
Yes, as a family visiting together I think we could consider booking this place again.

No No No!

I booked the room for my business partner in this hotel. And it turned into complete nightmare for him. The first surprise happened when we found out that there is no toothpaste and toothbrush in the room, and they don’t provide it for free.
Then When we asked to clean the room after staying for two days, they said that they clean rooms once a week. Are you serious? We are paying almost $200 per night, Even cheap motels provide you a cleaning of your room every day. Very disappointed! I wouldn’t say that the breakfast was good either. I don’t recommend this hotel.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I cannot ignore the poor treatment I received at the Marriott on Taylor Road in Rocklin. As a Titanium Elite member who has stayed at Marriott properties for over four months this year alone for work, I expect a certain standard of service. Unfortunately, my recent stay, which was for leisure, was extremely disappointing.

This Residence Inn is by far the most inferior Marriott property I’ve experienced. The facility is poorly maintained, and the staff are both incompetent and rude. The entry, elevator, and breakfast lounge were dirty and unwelcoming. Here’s a summary of the issues I encountered during my stay:

Television Issue: On the first morning, I went downstairs for coffee and decided to watch TV in the breakfast lounge. The polite night shift attendant provided the remote, but I quickly realized the TV wasn’t working. It was clear no one had bothered to maintain or fix it.

Faulty Grill: For lunch, I tried to use the outdoor grill, only to be told it wasn’t working. The maintenance worker managed to light it using a cigarette lighter, as the ignition was faulty. This seemed highly unsafe and unprofessional.

Jacuzzi Problems: Later, I attempted to use the jacuzzi, but the water was cold. I had to alternate between the cold jacuzzi and a warm shower every five minutes to relieve my muscle aches. I called the front desk (Kyle), and he informed me maintenance wouldn’t arrive for at least an hour—it was already 9:00 a.m.

Room Cleaning Request: After our first night, I requested clean towels and to have the trash emptied in my room. A housekeeper nearby said I needed to ask the front desk for authorization. When I approached Derek Vadney at the front desk, he refused to authorize any room cleaning and only offered to provide clean towels. This lack of basic service is unacceptable. Other Residence Inns I’ve stayed at have always embraced Marriott’s standard model of service, but this property does not.

Parking Charges: I was surprised to find a $12 daily parking fee, which was not communicated to me upfront. The parking situation was disorganized; there were plenty of open spaces, and on one occasion, I had to park at another Marriott property due to a lack of spots. It appears that parking passes are not consistently checked, as less than half of the cars in the lot displayed them. Charging for parking that is neither secured nor guaranteed feels unjustified.

Overall, this property does not uphold Marriott’s reputation for quality and customer service. I did not receive the level of service I’ve come to expect from Residence Inns, and I am extremely disappointed with this experience.

Needed a room that had standard or handy cap toilets , the one in my room : - ( looked like they were out of a kinder garden bath room . Had to use the bath room by the pool , we was there fri,sat,sun,mon, no cleaning lady : - ( Change those 2 things & we will be back , even with the bad service & the surprised $ 250. 00 charge ?

Marcus, Jordan and the rest of Residence inn staff are unprofessional. Book somewhere where you’re valued and appreciated. Customer service is terrible !!!!

Stayed here for the night and was extremely happy with the cleanliness, amenities, location, staff and breakfast. The room was spacious and had A great kitchenette. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back. i’m actually surprised it only has a three star rating.

Good hotel to stay for The Weekend. Has a full kitchen and separate rooms if you get the suite. The indoor pool is good but the chlorine is strong. Casino and restaurants not too far. The living room cable was out when we stayed and I had to call front desk to complain but mgr was able to accommodate points in my acct for future stay. Another good thing is free breakfast. Not the greatest but it’ll do! Lol
