So far, I’ve had my Buckys credit card for 2 1/2 months and still cannot get my account set up. No one answers the phone at the Texas City location and no one apparently returns peanut messages either. . Very poor customer service. The only way I got help before this was having to drive 20 minutes each way to walk into their location for help. This is not acceptable. The only reason I got this card was for It’s benefits. With the trouble I’m having I’m finding the benefits not to be worth it. The way they set up their accounts and have to have micro deposits verified is ridiculous. I just simply want to auto pay my bill to keep it paid on time and I can’t get help to do so. Totally ridiculous. I do not recommend.

TDECU is the WORST bank ever. Do NOT bank with them! They fraudulently took $700 out of my external account without authorization. It took two weeks, a dispute filed with my external account bank, and literal hours on the phone with them to get my money back. Then they sent it to me twice. I rejected the wire transfer of $700 - so you would think this would ultimately zero us out and settle it. Nope. TDECU then attempted two additional unauthorized $700 withdraws from my account, and charged me NSF fees, putting me over $1,400 (I only had a savings account opened with $5 to get my car loans). Since October 4th, not including today, I've spent 336 minutes on the phone with TDECU, and approximately 2.5 hours in the branch and yet have not yet reached a resolution. My external bank has verified multiple times that TDECU has NOT responded to the dispute nor sent any funds back to them.

Bad experience with their online app, I kept trying to pay my account thru their system but find out is not possible, paying my electricity bill is easier. Also even when I have emailed them to explain hardship with the recent huracan problems they keep bombarding me with calls night and day even when I have take the necessary step to assure them that I will get catch up on payments. Do not recommend them

Take your business elsewhere! Everyone I have dealt with over the last week including managers have been uneducated and have given the WORSE customer service ever! After numerous (recorded) conversations on the specific RV model and year I wanted to finance and a HARD credit pull including underwriting they call me to say they don't finance the model I want. You even called the dealer and told him we were approved and that he would have a check in the next few days. And now there is nothing you can do for me but reverse the HARD credit pull that takes 60-90 days at minimum to come off my credit. So if I even were to look for another finance company my score has now dropped 38 points under 800 my new APR would be more than what I should get. It took me 2 years to find this specific model and you so nonchalantly tell me I can look for another class. You will never ever get any of my business again. I have had several loans with you guys in which you messed up with them as well. You have cost me thousands of $ with your mess up. People stay far far away from TDECU!!

Changed name on account without my authorization. Refused to explain why. Stopped taking auto withdrawal 5 year loan payments 2 months before end of loan term and then added fees and pulled from another account without authorization. Absolutely blindsided us.

Great accounts and member service. However, online banking seems to always be "temporarily unavailable'. If you do all your banking online, I recommend going to a different place.

Worst customer service of any company I have dealt with. Their customer service vendor they use is unable to provide any useful help. Calls are routinely disconnected and return calls are never made. Find another bank!!!
