Nobody on the tills and issues with all self service tills. Finally find the staff member hiding in corner of the store on his phone. Then when he does come he is no help. Left without purchasing and won’t go back

Made an order online was told the order would be delivered between 8-9pm order never arrived! Got a call from someone claiming to be a driver saying he took an order that was supposed to be delivered the road across from the shop he went all the way to St. George's hospital and no order! Contacted Coop was told my order would be resent. I received an email saying it has been assigned to another driver and will be with me shortly. I waited nearly another hour and still no order. Contacted Coop again I was then told no driver has gotten my delivery and the store is closing! How ridiculous can people be these days? For the Coop staff a bit of honesty goes along way! When you take my money from my account it takes days to go back in so if you cannot do a delivery do not falsely advertise delivery slots when you know for sure customers will not get their order I will never order again! Can't trust shop assistants, can't trust customer service representatives and can't trust delivery drivers!

I have used this coop occasionally for years now. Mostly the staff are very pleasant as is the current duty manager. Some of the pricing is a bit wayward but you can find healthy food at a reasonable price if you persevere. The fuel price at the moment is competitive but it isn't always. The air machine for tyre is out of order.

Went there just before 22:45 yet the store was already closed despite advertising it being closed at 23:00. I wasn't the only person disappointed by this unexpected closure as others ran into the issue. The staff there clearly value shutting up early and getting home earlier than they do the business

This afternoon, around 12.15, shortly after purchasing 2 cans of Gordon's Premium Pink Distilled Gin & Tonic 250ml and exiting the Co-op store in south London at the corner of Balham Hill and Oldrige road, I was surrounded by three gentlemen and asked to reveal the contents of my (Waitrose) bag - I had just come from wiatrose down the road where I bought two packages of strawberries and two jars of piccalilli. I was heading to a friend's for lunch and thought I'd bring along a naughty two cans of Pimms or g&ts . As an American tourist and concerned for my well-being and safety, I ran back into the Co-op thinking these men were about to rob me... Until, it became quite clear (you must excuse us Americans, we're quite clumsy with the whole concept of irony) I was the one being accused, wrongly, of shoplifting. While I can sympathize with the possible increase in thefts from grocery stores, and the need to protect your bottom line - in the States food inflation this month has hit a high of 9.4%, not seen since the days when our Ronnie started two-stepping with your Maggie - I do take issue with the way in which I was accused in the street by three men and publicly humiliated. Please, please, please train your staff, and what I assume is outsourced security, on how best to approach and accuse unsuspecting (soon-to-be former) customers of stealing from the business, possibly with just a bit more due diligence, discretion and civility.
