I can't speak highly enough about East Cooper OB/GYN. The office is large but welcoming and very well kept. The staff is inviting, knowledgeable, and easily reached. They truly care about their patients and will take the time to throughly address any questions or concerns you may have, in addition to offering a comprehensive medical plan. I would recommend East Cooper not only for women who are expecting or in need of their annual check-up but for a long list of other female related needs.

I had a terrible experience with this office. I was trying to get a diagnosis for something I've been dealing with for a while. The doctor rushed through, maybe spent 10 minutes with me and didn't do all the tests that should have been done (even got a second medical opinion). The doctor also prescribed a medication without giving me much information about it. When I looked online at what she prescribed, I realized I wouldn't be able to take the medication in the first place because of another pre-existing condition she never asked about in the first place (Which would have been easy to see from the bloodwork I had done). Then, I find out they didn't bill my insurance for an annual visit, so I'm having to pay over $300 out of pocket for her to have basically told me I have what I diagnosed myself with. 3 visits of wasted time and no real solution. Would not recommend coming here at all.

I saw Dr. Ezman for an annual visit and she was amazing! Kind, thorough, and quick! I’ve recommended her to multiple of my friends and will continue to do so. Additionally, I had an issue with a test being ordered, but Regan (RN) was extremely responsive and proactive about getting the test ordered and the results delivered ASAP. I appreciate their dedication to patients and cannot recommend them enough!

Wonderful office and Dr. Stiles was AMAZING at my delivery. She is so sweet, thoughtful, and thorough. She has an excellent bedside manner and is a competent, incredible provider.

I wish I had never gone to East Cooper OB/GYN. The less than 10 minute preventative care appointment I had with Dr. Funkhauser has cost me months. I was mislead that they accepted my Cigna insurance and was later stuck with a $500.00 bill. I filed a complaint that was never resolved. Called several times to follow up and was just given the run around. Even spoke with the Practice Manager Jackie only to never hear from her again. Save yourself time, money and stress. Don't go to East Copper OB/GYN.

I have had all 3 of my babies with East Cooper OBGyn and 3 completely different types of births (1 regular, 1 emergency C and 1 scheduled C) and they handled everything with the utmost professionalism. This practice does *everything* right, from the kind and caring front desk staff to the nurses, the ultrasound techs all the way to the follow up care you receive postpartum. I highly recommend Dr. Williamson- she is simply the best! She is the perfect mix of warm, straightforward and competent. It is worth waiting a bit more in the waiting room- her wait times tend to be a little longer because of how amazing/booked up she is. She never makes you feel rushed regardless of how busy she gets. Dr. Pound is wonderful as well! She went out of her way to make sure I got an rx for post surgery pain management quickly and efficiently when the pharmacy was giving me a hard time. I was pleased with all the labor and postpartum nurses in the hospital. 10/10 would recommend. It is priceless to feel like you are in great hands and you and your family will be taken care of.

Called the office and made an appointment at their other office ( one not by the hospital) and went there for my appointment, was apparently the wrong office so they sent to the office ( the one next to the hospital) said they would send in a message saying I would be about 5-10 minutes late and that it would be okay. arrived at the office by the hospital and they refused to see me because I was 10 minutes late. Now I have no appointment, out a couple hundred dollars from missing work. Overall not a good way to start at a new obgyn

Dr Williamson is hands down the BEST doctor I've ever had. I wish I could just see her forever for my OB care. She always answered all of my questions, always showed care and compassion for my concerns, and is just generally a physician that has a high level of knowledge about medicine in general (like the abnormality discovered on my ultrasound, not OB related) and especially as relates to pregnancy. She always has a happy and relaxed personality, my husband said he saw her snap into a serious what he called "bad*** doctor" mode when the umbilical cord was wrapped around my baby's neck. Outside Dr. Williamson, the front desk staff are always very friendly and not in a fake way but in a generally friendly way to where I felt like I was family every time I came to the clinic. I would highly recommend this clinic, especially Dr. Williamson to anyone looking for OB care.
