I cannot say enough positive things about Cooper River Farms - I moved from Alabama and worried that South Carolina would not feel like home for a long time but I immediately felt at home because of Cooper River Farms. The property is absolutely beautiful. The gym and the pool are both incredible. The units are truly immaculate - quartz countertops, hardwood floors, tall ceilings and massive windows that allow for a ton of natural light, so many gorgeous details. The staff is so kind and so accommodating, especially maintenance. The community is also another added bonus - there are several events every month that the apartment throws for free, some examples being: wine tastings, cocktail classes, football parties, cookouts by the pool, yoga classes, etc. There are also food trucks that visit the property a couple times a month. I feel so lucky that CRF was my first home in Charleston.

I have greatly enjoyed living here since May. There are a variety of activities scheduled from a POOLSIDE BBQ to a morning yoga. The workout room is 2 levels which includes a workout studio and spin bikes. The clubhouse space is beautiful overall. The management takes great care of the facilities i.e grill cleaners. Sidewalk power washing and is responsive to any concerns very quickly. I wanted a place that wasn’t a “college dorm” yet a place that had a mixture of ages and backgrounds and were respectable in their care of where they lived. I found this here as there is no cigarette smoking allowed anywhere , this of course includes pot which can be smelled at other tours of other locations. I think when tenants commit to living here they commit to keeping it nice. The grounds are beautiful overall and I appreciate all the flowers and every single perfectly placed palm tree. The access to 526 is awesome. A quick right turn and you are there!

I took my mother by the property because she is looking to relocate from Massachusetts and OMG the grounds alone blew us both away. We were approached by a good looking man that we thought was a resident, but he was the maintenance man. Xavier was so knowledgeable about this property, He was well spoken and cordial. If all of the employees are like him then this the perfect place for my mom,

YOU send me texts every week to leave a review.about living here, well ,here’s my review.
It’ looks nice while touring and they boast about all the activities they plan every month.
But they should be spending less time planning resident activities and more time on the operational deficiencies within the complex.

The dog park is a big problem!
The amount of dog poop ALL OVER THE GROUND is horrific!
There are frequently NO BAGS AND THE receptacle is overflowing.
I’ve articulated the problem at least 8 times and it’s cleaned up that day but then it’s the same old same old.

Today I tried calling several times to no avail that I stopped by the office.

Here’s the icing on the cake.
Sydney (the manager) didn’t seem apologetic in fact her response was “we have 1 person and it’s the residents responsibility to pick up after their own pets” I agree 100 % but if the garbage pail is overflowing, and there are no bags, I think you would agree most people don’t have anything to pick it up with and they leave it.
As the manager of this residential Complex I would hope that she would’ve pretended to really care and say that we’ll take care of it instead of “it’s up to the residence to pick up.

I was a business owner and was a Vice President for a very large retail store. If something needed to be done and there was nobody to do it. I did it myself. You do whatever it takes to run the business.

The most frustrating part about today was nobody answering the phone when we went to the office. There were three people sitting in an office saying the phones weren’t working that may or may not be true but being met with her condescending, dismissive attitude made me write this review.

Enclosing if you can’t seem to hire someone, and if the residents are responsible, then you have to figure out a way to hold them accountable such as a camera and attach fine. You need to figure that out, but it is not OK for my dogs to be stepping in poop And getting sick potentially, which will be your responsibility.

I've had a wonderful experience living at Cooper River Farms. The events are fantastic, and I have enjoyed the ability to connect with other residents. Working with Sierria and Kyndal was a huge plus. They quickly addressed any concerns I had, and made my move in easy! Being close to 526 makes it very convenient for commuting to work and shopping. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient home to move here!

MICE MICE MICE! Do not recommend!

Once you move in you’re basically moved down the list of importance to the level of a 3rd class citizen. Noisy neighbors, horrific parking, stolen packages, office business phones that (conveniently) rarely work so you can’t contact property management easily, office staff that don’t even to pretend that you’re anything but an inconvenience because they have the far more important task of bringing in new residents, and to top it off…now mice running rampant through my apartment. I keep an exceptionably clean home, yet here we find ourselves, and office management basically doesn’t care. I had to bring a dead mouse in a ziplock bag into the office for show-and-tell in order for them to get pest control out to the apartment after the 3rd mouse I caught in December. Well it’s now been a month, and the problem hasn’t been fixed. I woke up to a screeching, thrashing, bloody mouse stuck to a sticky pad this morning, and when I notified the office to have it removed, I was told by management that it was not the property staff’s job to do so, that pest control had been contacted to remove it at “some point today” and to just leave it in the apartment until they could arrive. Oh and that they would be “squeezing me in” so they didn’t know when pest control would arrive. No apology, no “we’ll get this rectified immediately”, not even an “oh my gosh!” Well excuse me and all my rent payments for being such an inconvenience to you, while I sit here watching and listening to this mouse screaming and bleeding all over the place while it tries to chew off its own leg. When I finally couldn’t take it any more, I had to put the whole sticky pad outside. When I asked what the plan was to get this continuing problem permanently fixed, I was told that they had “an office full of people” and would have to get back to me…What?!? You mean all the people looking to rent mice-infested apartments?!? The end of this lease can’t come soon enough.

Oh and before you guys reply with your stupid AI generated “please call the office with your complaint” response, go ahead and just have district management call me. After nearly 4 years of living here, this particular group of office staff has discovered the end of my patience.
